Theo Ardennes Draft Horse 1843

Theo is an Ardennes draft horse.  The Ardennes breed is one of the oldest draft horse breeds, originating in the Ardennes region (France and Belgium today), used for work in the rough, forested terrain.  The Ardennes is heavy-boned and muscular, weighing up to 2200 pounds, yet standing only 15 - 16 hands high.
